Routine Admissions
We routinely admit students into Basic 7 every year, with a maximum of 60 students per set to ensure quality instruction.
Merit Based
Admission is based strictly on academic merit evaluatd through an entrance examination and oral interview.

Admissions Policy
The College selects for entry those children who have the potential to benefit from the education the College offers. Our process is consistent, fair, and monitored regularly to ensure excellence.
Criteria for Entry
- Minimum age of 11 years for Basic 7 entry.
- Aptitude and ability evaluation via entrance assessment.
- Positive references from the candidate's previous school.
- Availability of space in the requested class.
Admissions Procedure
Online Application: Fill the form at parents.vaatiacollege.com.ng with a N10,000 application fee.
Documentation: Complete the form online with passport photographs and birth certificate.
Age Check: Candidates must be 11, 12, or 14 years for Basic 7, Basic 8, and SSS 1 respectively.
Entrance Examination: Conducted in Makurdi or Abuja centers as assigned.
CBT Assessment: Computer Based Test in Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge.
Oral Interview: Conducted immediately following the successful CBT assessment.
Entrance Exam Notice: The next Entrance Examination into Basic 7 is slated for Saturday, 21st February, 2026. Closing date for application is Wednesday, 18th February, 2026.

Yes, an enrollment fee of ₦10,000 is paid before you can fill and submit the application form.
Meal Systems?
Students are fed four times a day with healthy foods prepared in our modern kitchen facilities.
Class Size?
Our classes are designed for a maximum of 30 students to maintain a 7:1 student-teacher ratio.
Visiting Days?
No set visiting days, but parents can visit for academic tracking and medical follow-up by appointment.
Acceptance?
A place is accepted only when a signed letter and a non-refundable deposit of N200,000 are received.
Boarding?
Yes, Vaatia College is 100% boarding with standard and hygienic boarding facilities for all students.
